Balena began with Gentelella, the well-known MIT-licensed HTML dashboard. Then the real work started.

We treated the original as a visual reference — not as finished code. Every screen was rebuilt as typed React components, reorganized into a maintainable architecture and adapted to a modern responsive system.

Static mockups became functional experiences. jQuery patterns became React logic. A legacy stylesheet became Tailwind CSS 4. The result preserves what made Gentelella familiar while replacing the machinery underneath.
